Mouse Balls

Here is a great munchie for eating while watching the game. I've made these for years. Best to make more than one batch.

Mouse Balls

1/2 lb bulk sausage
1 cup Bisquick or other biscuit mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix well and make small balls. Put on a cooke sheet and bake at 350 until golden. Best to serve warm.

Depending on the source of the sausage they're probably not real Mouse Balls.....

I had a friend that would make these for company parties. Really good! I would have to mix in some jalapenos in there! Thanks for reminding me of these!

I just made these a couple weeks ago for a football party. I've never heard them called that before but they are good! I did add a can of chopped chili's too. Gotta have the heat...

Ooo! Fresh or canned or pickled?

You know, I thought about that as I was posting that comment. I'm kinda in favor of fresh stuff, but I think pickled would work best in this recipe. Got to make sure they are patted dry so they don't add extra moisture to the mix.
