Chicken Pasta Casserole

Apx 4 cups diced chicken breast browned
1 pound cooked pasta (al dente)
1 cup died onion
1 cup diced red pepper
1 pint heavy cream
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of chicken
2 cups mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste
garlic grill seasoning

dice up chicken breast, season with salt and pepper and garlic seasoning
brown chicken, deglaze pan with a little water
saute onions and peppers
In a large bowl mix the remaining ingredints (except cheese)
in 2 baking pans halve the ingredients
top with cheese
bake at 400 for 25 -30 minutes

I added a little hot red pepper flake for a little zing and it was great. Enjoy.

I imagine you can add broccoli or asparagus. For that matter almost anything else that you like as a substitute. It is my first ever casserole recipe I mad myself. Not bad for a rookie.

Thanks sweetheart. We each ate two bowls of it. It wasn't too dry either. I may have to add a little water when I take it to work and reheat it in the nuke. I will let you know how it works for lefty-overs after work Friday.

anything that can be reheated and not dry is good. Let me know darlin!!:wink:

I reheated it in the nuke oven and it was a little dry. I am going to add a little water (a spoon or two) next time I heat some up. That should keep it moist.

Bump for TG. I brung some in to work as leftovers for lunch and I added a couple of spoons of water before I nuked it and it was right back to its creamy texture. Its a keeper. ;)
