I thought i might be fun to see what everyone's favorite films are. Initially, it was gonna be top 10 but I had a hard time whittling my list down. Here's mine:
Harold and Maude
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Big Chill
The Color Purple
Moscow on the Hudson
The Fisher King
Sling Blade
Monster's Ball
Don Juan DeMarco
American Beauty
The Green Mile
Life as a House
Crash
And I'm embarassed about these last 2 because they are filthy and crude - stoner movies, really - but I laugh my butt off when I watch them.
Team America
Grandma's Boy

So, what's your top 15 movies of all time?

Oooooh, Officer and a Gentleman and Summersby - you have a thing for Richard Gere, too! I watched Nights in Rodanthe last week just because I needed a Gere fix!

I can't widdle my favorite movies down to 15, sorry but I really like a lot of the movies mentioned.

Choose Me would have to be on my list, though.

I consider a favorite movie one I can watch again now and anytime in the future. While I did love Tron as a kid, it just doesn’t have the same punch today.

My all time favs are:

Alien
Aliens
Terminator 1
Terminator 2
Equilibrium
Enter The Dragon
Full Metal Jacket
Guyver 2
Lone Wolf McQuade
Forced Vengeance
House of 1,000 Corpses
Halloween
Pitch Black
Serenity
Nearly anything with Vincent Price or Bella Lugosi

Can I stick the entire Alien series into one movie?? LOL.
And same with Terminator, and the Matrix series, and Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars...
Dogma!
Serenity
Pitch Black
Chronicles of Riddick
I dropped The Transformers... thank Abby for that!!
Kelly's Heroes
Pearl Harbor (the new one)
Titanic
The Green Mile
The Shawshanke Redemption
Grandma's Boy
Breakfast Club
That's 15 (if you count the series as one, LOL!) but some noteworthies:
Blackhawk Down
Behind Enemy Lines
Enemy at the Gates
A Bridge Too Far
Bridge over the River Kwai
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, the Clerks Series including the last one where they worked at Moby's
Saved
and probably a million others I can't think of right now.

See.. look how much we got in common! LOL. We all love sarcastic humor! Have either of you watched Saved? Full of the same sarcasm and dry humor.

No I haven’t. I checked Netflix and just added it to my cue in the #1 position.

Does this sound like it:

When Mary (Jena Malone), a devout senior at a Christian high school, accidentally gets pregnant, she starts to see her peers and her faith in a whole new way. This dark comedy/coming-of-age story premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival and was produced by R.E.M. lead singer Michael Stipe. Mandy Moore, Macaulay Culkin, Patrick Fugit, Eva Amurri, Martin Donovan and Mary-Louise Parker co-star.

Link Here.

Which one? I would include Richard Cronenberg's 1996 film Crash on my list. That movies stars Holly Hunter and James Spader, among others...
Strange, Surreal film. Well made, IMO.
No, I was referring to the 2004 one. But I just googled the one you mentioned and I'm adding it to Netflix now. It looks interesting and I really like Holly Hunter and James Spader. Thanks, Food!
