We watched Wall-E. I thought it was OK, kids found it hilarious.
i saw "right america" last night.
please tell me that it was just a very strong left spin on things. i mean, i know there's idiots everywhere you go. but i hope that was just a small minority that was selected to make the entire south look bad.
if not, i think i need a gun.
I watched Sicko by Michael Moore today for the first time. This needs to be seen by everyone is all I can say. For those that don't know what it is about then it is about the state of health care in the US and many other countries as well in comparison.
I watched it again on the dish network just last night. I originally saw it on a dvd several months ago. It's a great movie based on a true story.anybody seen "Changeling" yet ?
got a bootleg copy laying here, but I'm not sure I'm interested..............

I had the same reaction to Adaptation, Lee. I thought it was just me...And then we watched "Adaptation" (Nicolas Cage and Meryl Streep) which was highly rated on Rotten Tomatoes. That was a big "what the ......?"

Does anyone use the website "Rotten Tomatoes" when deciding what movies to rent?
I do. Or did. I think I'm going to give up on it.
Today, we watched "Hancock" with Will Smith, Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron, which was panned by critics but we found surprisingly funny and entertaining. My brother picked that one from a Blockbuster list.

Maybe I'll just use this thread for recommendations from now on.

Watched Book of Secrets... again... and again... kinda makes me miss Transformers...
Nights In Rodanthe - it was ok - the ending mad me mad
Hubby and I have noticed that when the critics say it is good - we will hate it and if they say it is bad - we will like it.
Well don't miss it too much.
Right now I'm watching a Nokia cell phone trying to shoot it's way out of a glass box.........
Penelope - Cute movie...
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Out of all 3 movies we watched this weekend (Mr. Brooks as well), this was the most entertaining of them all.
