Just finished supper. The kids ( germ carriers ) came over.
Maria cooked some chicken, and the hot dogs on the grill.
She baked the Orida French fries in the air fryer...... and I had the Sloppy Joes
2....and hot dogs 1...1/2.
Now ready for dessert.

Med, I just watched an episode of ATK where they sous vided a chuck roast (beautiful!) and creme broule. I've never seen the process before.

How long did your egg cook? What kind of container did you put it in?

A little over an hour at 145 F. You treat them like you would normally boil eggs. I use a pasta pot on a folded towel on the counter or sit it on the stove if it's a long cook. I have a silicone lid with a hole made for the Anova I use (off Amazon).

You adjust temps up or down depending on how you like your eggs cooked. Craig likes really runny yolks, me not so much, so we compromise. I like cooking them sous vide because I can time rest of meal to be ready when the eggs are and don't have to worry about cooking them while trying to finish the rest of the meal and/or keeping it hot.

Prosciutto bread, which also has pepperoni and hot capicola, as well as provolone, with a cannellini bean pesto.

We had a bunch of donuts and coffee boxes from Tim Horton's earlier this morning.

I chose to eat the kitchen's food for my dinner right now.
Fish sandwich, scalloped potatoes, green beans.
And apple pie, which I certainly do not need.
Lol

Jimmy that looks so good!

Right now I'm planning on making my own Chinese tonight, with a little help from P.F. Chang and Pagoda.

No idea what to make / eat .
I guess we have droopy cheek; sad aged syndrome.
I just got dagger eyed for telling Tina she looks like she broke a blood vessel on her face cheek. She's in the bathroom now rubbing it with Jergens cream.

Well I got as far as making the rice!
My friend Jules wants to shop after she gets off work, so I'm going to swing thru somewhere and get something.
I'll make what I planned this weekend.

A braised chunk of beef that was shredded, then finished with sloppy Joe type ingredients on homemade rolls, with homemade chips.

Med, love your tapas plate! That's the type of meal my friends and I have when we get together.

LT, your tacos looked delicious! Do you fry the tortillas a bit in oil?

I had grilled brats, grilled mini peppers and squash, and a burrata salad.
