Default What have you eaten NCT - Sunday 7/1/2018 to Saturday 7/7/2018?

To early to tell what's for dinner.

I had a coffee yogurt for breakfast.

I may try to make (western omelet ingredient) egg bites in the Instant Pot for lunch.

Yup, it's another scorcher here as well.
Son will be the jumbo dogs.
He got the wonderful Aunt Millie's foot long buns to put them in.
We'll have potato chips and leftover cold salads and ice cream.

Itís already 96F with heat index of 102F. 3 heat and air quality warnings in effect till tomorrow night. Yikes! Definitely no cooking tonight. I wish there were still Chicken Delight restaurants around.

It's not supposed to really cool down here until next weekend.

I can't stand to go outside for long.

Two pizzas, crusts made with no-knead pizza dough, drizzled with garlic olive oil, cheese layer of fresh moz, fontina and parm. One topped with fig jam, prosciutto, and bits of gorgonzola. The other topped with crawfish tails seasoned with some blackening spice, homemade andouille, thin sliced red onion, roasted red bell strips, and drizzled with a sauce of apricot preserves, cider vinegar, sriracha, and red pepper flakes. I know the second one sounds a bit odd, but it's really, really good with the spice and the sweet/sour of the drizzling sauce.

One of these days I'm going to try a slice of fig and prosciutto pizza. My co-worker talks about it all the time!

Tonight's dinner will be leftovers.
Unbent reheated dogs, anyone?
Actually, those and cold salad - the carrot raisin.
I might make some deviled eggs as well.

Chickpeas spiced and roasted. I was really surprised that Craig really liked it. He's usually iffy about vegetarian, much less vegan recipes. I liked it too BTW.
