Default Brussels Sprouts

Does anyone have a good recipe for Brussles Sprouts? There seems to be a severe lack of recipes for them.

Hiya Leni!

I don't know if this will work, posting a link to Search results, but I'll try.

http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums...archid=1062191

If that doesn't work, go to the Search box, type in Brussels Sprouts and click "Advanced Search". Instead of searching the Entire Posts, click Titles Only.

You get all the posts that have Brussels Sprouts in the title.

Looks like a LOT of us love those little devils!

BTW, thanks for asking about this - I'm seeing recipes I want to make, and some to make again!

Here's one from Pioneer Woman:

http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2...d-cranberries/

I've never made it, but it sounds good to me (less the cranberries). She chose it for her food network special, so she must think it's special.

I just like them lightly steamed with butter or cut in half and sauteed with a little olive oil.

I just cut them in half and saute with oil/shallot/garlic. Sometimes add bacon.

We eat them a lot, the fresh ones that is. The frozen ones have quite a different flavor. I continued to search and foud 89 recipes on www.allrecipes.com. I didn't look at all of the recipes but there are several ones that look pretty good. I've gotten tired of the sauteed in butter or olive oil with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

I tried that Qsis and the only one that came up was this post. Funny. :>)

Thanks Qsis. I really like that balsamic vinegar and bacon reduction one. I think that I might try it tonight.
