Vintage Pressure Cooker

I picked up a Presto Meat Master 606 pressure cooker at a yard sale and installed a new gasket. I am used to pressure cookers that have a jiggler weight that chatters when it is up to pressure. This cooker has a larger cylindrical type controller. I found a uTube that showed that model running and there was a popup on top of the controller that was pushed up about 1/2" by the pressure. When I tested my cooker, the popup was barely popping up. I could not find an instruction manual for my cooker. Does anyone have experience with this model and came provide guidance on how to read the pressure controller?

I knew someone who had one like that.

I once has a vintage pressure canner like the one pictured above. That was many years ago. Now I have the one pictured below.

You may want to try to Google the missing parts for your pressure cooker. It might help. Good luck! :weber:
