Default Holy Mole Pepper

QSis, you will like this one. It is used when making the Mexican mole sauce. When ripe it is black. It has a nice pepper flavor, a nice smokey flavor and it is not hot. I plan to roast some on the grill this next year. I can send you the seeds if you can't find it locally although you should be able to find it in a seed catalog.

I'd love it if you sent me say 6 seeds, Leni!

I only have room for a couple of pepper plants, so buying a seed packet is a waste.

Thanks for the offer! I have enjoyed the other two pepper seeds you've sent me!

I sent you three pods on Friday. You should get them sometime this coming week. Enjoy.

Thanks, Leni!

Any sense on the time to maturity? The Wrinkled Old Man is much sooner than the Fleur Pepper.

I don't remember off hand but somewhere between 60 and 90 days would be my guess.

I got the peppers/seeds Leni - thank you!

I tasted a bit of the flesh and it tastes JUST like mole! Just enough heat!

Great! Have fun with them. Just hope that they didn't cross pollinate with the other peppers.
