Default Lasagne Appetizer

I'm not sure how this was made, or what it was stuffed with. This was an appetizer for Valentine's Day where I work, but a different cook was in charge of that.

Looks like a lasagna roll.

Cook your noodle al dente then spread on a thin layer of ricotta filling, roll and bake. Or just plate like they did. You can put anything you want as a filling. Mine usually has ricotta, spinach and a melting cheese as a base for a protien. I also sauce with bechamel on the bottom and tomato on top, then bake. I think I'll make one thike the pic once for fun.

Tasty little morsel.... on both accounts. This would be more my speed as I find lasanga rich and filling.

You should try my wonton wrapper single serving lasagnas. Not heavy at all.

Allen, see if you can find out the stuffing on that.

I realize this is an old post, but since it was mentioned recently - here's a similar idea to play with from Williams-Sonoma.

Individual Lasagnas with Asparagus & Prosciutto

Yes, I do believe this was the thread I was remembering! Thanks, CC!

I love the idea of the asparagus and prosciutto version, too!
