Strawberry Spinach Salad

For the salad:
2 bunches of fresh baby spinach
1 large head of Romaine lettuce, chopped
1 Vidalia Onion, thinly sliced
1 pint of fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup of slivered almonds, toasted

For the dressing:
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of half-and-half
1 teaspoon celery seed
Put dressing ingredients in an airtight container and shake well. Pour over salad.

OMG! That salad is just gorgeous. The dressing sounds divine. Do you think it would lose too much if I left out the onion? This would be a great way for Fisher to get some spinach in his diet because he loves strawberries and almonds, but he won't touch onions.

No , you can leave them out, I have to leave them out when I make it for DD too.

Mama, that salad is bursting with flavour.
Just looking at it makes my mouth water!
Creamy dressing and the crunch of the almonds would send me over the top.
I had a fruity salad at Bob Evans restaurant not that long ago and loved it.
This is something that I have been looking for and I thank you for the recipe.
