stuffed pressed burger ...

startyed out as a pressed cuban burger from a bobby flay cook book ..
then i tweaked it a bit ...
so its 80/20 chuck seasoned with salt and pepper ...
made balls with the meat then stuffed grated cheddar cheese
into them .. sealed the hole then turned them into patties ..
grilled until your desired doneness and then topped with
thin sliced ham, swiss cheese and sliced pickle ..
then press the burgers on the grill .. i usually make them a bit flatter
but did not want the cheese to come out ..

Looks yummy, Q. How did you do the potatoes? They look yummy, too :smile:

thanks GG .. i par boiled them for about 5 mins then tossed them in
this tuscan dressing my DW picked up and threw them on the cooler part
of the grill while the burgers cooked ...

I think I remember watching that episode. I made his pressed Cuban burgers for a few weeks in a row. Still got the brick by my grill and a bunch of uneaten pickle slices (lol).
Looks good. I like the cheddar stuffing idea.
