Made this recipe from a supermarket magazine. Not quite as crunchy as I liked, first time around. And when I put them, cooled, in a Tupperware container, they got all soft.

Then I read somewhere NOT to store them in a container with a lid.

So, I popped them on alum. foil in the toaster oven, 350 degrees for 8 minutes - BOOM - perfectly crunchy! Excellent!

I'm going to experiment with these. Looking to try them tossed in bacon grease instead of evoo. And maybe season with chopped sage.
