Default Radish Butter Baguettes

I posted this as one of the answers in the Food and Drink game and was so taken by it's simplicity that I thought I'd post it for all to see and hopefully make if you're a radish lover like myself.



  • 2 bunches of radishes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick, room temperature)
  • salt and pepper
  1. Clean the radishes.
  2. Grate the radishes (carefully!).
  3. Pat dry the grated radish on a paper towel.
  4. Mix the grated radish with the butter.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Halve your baguette, or slice them into individual portions diagonally. Broil for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Smother on the radish butter. Serve.

  • lemon juice
  • chopped herbs (rosemary/dill/parsley)
  • add a topping like sunflower seeds
