I made a big batch of Steak and Ale mushrooms day before yesterday. I love them but don't do them often because you need to plan ahead, which isn't my strong suit :), for an overnight refrigeration. No meat left, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of them.

Mushroom soup? Quiche? Omelet? Pot roast/stew? Pasta sauce?

I don’t know what is in your steak n ale recipe but soup, pot roast/stew or a pasta sauce would be something I’d think of.

Cooksie, I'd make some sort of mushroom rarebit, with toast and cheese.

Thanks you two. I ended up thickening them and putting them over egg noodles, sort of a mushroom stroganoff.

We had braised lamb shanks with potatoes and carrots, besides the mirepoix that went in with the shanks originally.
