Brunch.
We got the steaks from Fort Defiance meats.
They come frozen, but don't think they make them there. Plain zip bag, so maybe.
Gravy is from a pouch, mix w/ water til thick.
Eggs made in CI skillet with butter.

Shrimp, red and yellow bell, daikon, cucumber, carrot, cilantro spring rolls with a coconut, lime, cilantro dipping sauce. Craig and I both absolutely love that sauce.

A cucumber, carrot, shrimp, conch, and squid salad with a kimchi base, honey, lime juice dressing. An old favorite.

Thank you Peeps.
Tonight I am going to make the pudgy pies.
Pizza ones.
DIL can't find the camping sandwich maker, so I'll improvise.
The weather isn't going to cooperate anyhow.

THX, Sass !

The Warden dissed the fact that I left the tails intact..... That misstep did make for some messy fingers, and a plethora of used napkins, :yum:

I did that too when I made the easy lemon shrimp a while back, but don't tell anyone.

When Emeril used to do his show with the live audience, he made shrimp po' boys 1 time, left the tails on and gave it to people to eat. I couldn't believe they ate it anyway.

this has been on my list for a while - baked chicken with corn flake crust.
or oven fried or whatever.... had it in at 375'F and jacked up the temp to 425'F thinking to crispier it - 425'F started to burn the corn flake crust.
rescued in the nick of time.... these are boneless thighs - veddy nice flavor - much better that bland ole' breast/cutlet/tenders....

Not pic worthy, but when it comes to food I am honest.. these would have been soooo much better looking with the sandwich iron.

With sauce, pepperoni, onion and cheese.
20180611_211605-768x768.jpg

Basically then, a pizza grilled cheese. Lol

I know it's early, but the day is already planned mealwise and other.

Lunch will be at The Vagabond after we take the grandies to an indoor church summer play activity.
Dinner is gonna be China Garden.
Yay..no cooking!

Med, although I'm not a big fan of seafood, the photos of your recent seafood dinner were works of art! Amazing!

I would LOVE the pulled pork sandwich with homemade rolls and chips!

Sass, that pizza grilled cheese idea has my mouth watering!

Caveat Emptor on the 3 piece big box, cuz it is! lol
I do know the take out routine is coming to a halt for a while. DIL has knee surgery tomorrow.
The kitchen is going to be mine.. hehehe

We may have Chinese take out (or eggs and toast) for lunch.
Dinner will be either chuck roast stew/pot roast or pizza (Mama Mary pizza crust and toppings).
It's cool and rainy. I want the stew.

There is a plethora of leftovers and "stuff" to be eaten.
It's going to be pick around tonight.

The freezer is full of meats, frozen vegs and we've got all necessary carbies; potatoes, rice, pasta.

The cooking is going to be my department for a while, unless my son grills.
