I was reading the Sauce Forum and did not find anything about a Marsala Sauce. Here is one that I make, but make a smaller quantity and more that not do not use the mushrooms.
It's good with both chicken and sliced pork loin or tenderloin along with some pasta...............:chef:

3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Onion, finely diced
1 Tablespoon Garlic, finely minced
1/2 Pound Mushrooms, sliced
3 Tablespoons Flour
1/2 Cup Marsala Wine
1 1/2 Cups Beef Stock
Salt and fresh ground Black Pepper, to taste
3 Tablespoons Cream, optional
Heat Olive Oil in saucepan over medium high heat. Add Onions and sauté for 2 minutes. Add Garlic, and Mushrooms and sauté until Mushrooms become tender. Add Flour and cook about 1 minute while stirring. Add the Marsala Wine and deglaze the sauce pan. Add the Beef Stock, Salt and Pepper, Cream (if used) and cook while stirring until the sauce becomes thick and all the flavors have blended.

Notes: 1. Some Beef Stocks are very salty, so use Salt with caution.

Pork marsala is so delicious and easy! But people think you're a brilliant chef when you serve it!
