Collecting seed from a wildflower that is abundant at our place, fawn lily. I trade with a native plant grower for stuff like huckleberry that I want to add to our landscape.

I just planted 2 hills of zucchini, then looked in the freezer. OMG I have a s_ _t load of the stuff still. So chocolate zucchini brownies are in the oven.

Here's a recipe for oven roasted tomatoes. We really like it. They freeze well and are great on pasta, in chili, in a meatloaf you get the drill....

Oregano, rosemary and thyme are perennials. Basil is an annual. The type of potting mix is less of an issue as water management. The biggest container gardening issue I see is most folks use too...

I have craisins, yellow raisins and dried apples soaking in fruit juice. This evening I'm gonna take a stab at no-knead hot cross buns. The dough will rise overnight and tomorrow I'll form into rolls.
