DW is doing dinner with the Hen Party Gang - so for me.... veal chops.
about 4 mins/side - tender and juicy! bi-color corn we put up last summer; store made cole slaw.

worth a shot - the whites set to firm at ~180'F and the yolks are soft at ~155'F.


taking the ground beef to even the "recommended" 160'F - as long as you don't hold it there - should leave them...

the chicken did fine - it was the topping that failed....
I have taken to slicing chicken breast to about 1/2" in thickness.
recent trends are .5 - .8 lbs per breast - they're huge. and so thick...

when I do small ones, I slice the egg in half "longwise" and keep the flat side down...
the juices run into the yolk and make for yummy.

J Pepin calls it a creamy omelet - the "classic" form altho in later series he identifies also a "country" omelet style which has more browned edges....similar to the 'usual and customary' USA type....

this is die katz's meow for making spaetzle - I've bought / used / tried everything from the slider types to the ricer types (Cusipro with three plate sizes is the best in that category.)

I used more bean sprouts than called for - I think a double batch of packet sauce would suit me more in...
