Spring Salmon Bake

Tonight I smoke cooked a spring salmon fillet shoulder using alder, cherry, and plum for smoke and it was excellent. there is enough leftover for salmon patty sandwiches and hopefully scrambled eggs...

I went to two different stores for chicken wings - at $3 a pound, I said no. Thighs and legs were 98 cents a pound at Win/Co and got a package of each for under $8. I grilled three thighs for dinner...

Maddie is doing great and can come home when she can get 75% of her bottle feeding and also on breast. She likes the breast best which is natural.

We enjoyed our week with her and hated to leave....

Hungarian Goulas Soup

I'll pst the recipe tomorrow.

I made this for my church soup kitchen and it was a hit. Usually it comes out more like a stew but I added more water and good bullion to thin it down for soup.
